|
| |
Adult Residential Facility Level II: care,
supervision, and incidental training for persons with
some self-care skills and no major behavior problems. |
| |
Adult Residential Facility
Level III: care, supervision, and ongoing training
for persons with significant deficits in self-help skills,
and/or some limitations in physical coordination and
mobility, and/or disruptive or self-injurious behavior. |
| |
Elderly Level III: same
criteria as for Adult Residential Facility Level III,
with an additional age requirement that the program

ADULT DAY
PROGRAM CRITERIA
|
| |
Day Training Activity Center
(DTAC): Generally, this adult education program
is most appropriate for people matching the Level II
criteria mentioned above. The typical DTAC participant
has at least fair communication skills and good physical
mobility. Many DTAC participants enter the program to
improve job-oriented skills and social skills, then
move on to other programs, such as supported employment
and workshop programs. |
| |
Adult Developmental
Center (ADC): Typically, this program is appropriate
for folks possessing the Level III criteria. Many of
LARC's ADC participants are older people with significant
physical and/or self-help challenges. One of the main
goals of the ADC program is to maintain existing intellectual,
physical, emotional, and social skills. |
